What You’ll See at Decks & Dogs
This isn’t a trade show. Fiberon reps will be on-site – not behind a table with a brochure, but actually walking you through the product, explaining the differences between lines, and helping you figure out what makes sense for your specific project.
Here’s what’s on the agenda:
- PE & PVC Decking Products – Side-by-side comparisons across Fiberon’s full collection.
- Deck Railing Systems – See how the railings coordinate with different deck board options.
- First Time User Program – New to Fiberon? There are real advantages to being a first-time buyer.
- Partner Program – If you’re a contractor, this one’s worth your time!
- Installation Tips – Practical, job-site-level advice from people who know the product cold.
- Wildwood Cladding – Fiberon’s exterior cladding line, which doesn’t get enough attention.
- And more – The Fiberon reps will have samples, swatches, and answers!
The Highlight: Fiberon Novus Decking
The big product debut at this event is the all-new Novus Decking. Fiberon’s newest line, Novus brings together the look of natural wood grain with the durability you expect from a capped composite board.
The three colorways you’ll see in person:

A grey-toned, aged wood look with real depth to the grain.

Warm, honey-toned, closer to what natural cedar actually looks like.

Rich brown with a dark, tight grain that reads upscale without trying too hard.
Honestly, photos don’t do composite boards justice. These are worth seeing in person.
Lunch Is On Fiberon
Come hungry. Fiberon is providing lunch for everyone who attends – that’s the “dogs” part of Decks & Dogs. Hot dogs and more are on the menu.
It’s a 2-hour window (12-2 PM), so you can grab food, walk through the product, and still be back to your afternoon. Contractors especially: this is an easy midday break that actually pays off.
Why This Event Is Worth Your Time
If you’ve been quoting decks with the same two or three products out of habit, this is a good chance to update what you know. Fiberon has a full outdoor living lineup – PVC and PE decking, railing, lighting, fasteners, and cladding – and the reps at this event know the products at a depth you won’t get from a spec sheet.
For homeowners planning a project, you get to touch the boards, see the color options in natural light, and ask the kind of questions you’d otherwise spend weeks trying to research online.
Premium Decking Supply has been serving contractors and homeowners across northern Illinois since 2013. The Spring Grove showroom already has the product on display – this event just adds Fiberon’s team on-site to walk you through it.
Premium Decking Supply is home to the largest deck display in the Midwest, featuring top brands including Fiberon, Trex, TimberTech, and more.
Who Should Come
Contractors: The Partner Program and First Time User Program details alone are worth the two hours.
Deck builders: See installation tips from people who’ve watched installers get it wrong and know where things go sideways.
Homeowners: This is the kind of event that cuts weeks off your research. See the product, pick a color, understand what you’re buying.

Yes. Fiberon is covering lunch for all attendees. Come hungry.
No – homeowners, DIYers, builders, and contractors are all welcome.
PE (polyethylene) composite decking blends wood fiber with plastic and typically costs less. PVC decking is all-plastic, more moisture-resistant, and generally commands a higher price point. Fiberon makes both, and the reps at the event can walk you through which fits your project better.
