- www.premiumdeckingsupply.net – our online store powered by BigCommerce
Both websites are owned and operated by Premium Decking Supply, Inc., headquartered in Plainfield, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data.
By using either website, submitting a form, or checking a consent checkbox, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our websites.

- In-person transactions at either of our physical locations
The .com website and the .net online store operate on separate technical systems. However, as legal entities of the same company, customer data collected across both platforms may be used for unified business and marketing purposes, as described in Section 6.

A. Information You Provide Directly
Quote Request Forms (.com):
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Message / project description (optional on some forms)
- Type of product of interest
- Preferred location (Plainfield or Spring Grove)
Decking Calculator, Railing Calculator & Other Tools (.com):
Our calculator tools are custom-built and hosted on our WordPress site. When you use these tools, we collect your project inputs including:
- Deck dimensions (width and height)
- Decking brand and collection selected
- Whether fasteners are included
- Railing brand and collection selected
- Whether fascia, fascia fasteners, or substructure are included
- Substructure type and whether protective tape is needed
- Stair inclusion, number of steps, and stair width
- Your full name, email address, and phone number (required to receive your results)
The calculator generates a full material estimate and sends the breakdown to the email address you provide. This information is also retained by us. By using the calculator and submitting your contact details, you consent to receiving the estimate via email and to us retaining your project data.
Online Store (.net – BigCommerce):
- Full name, billing and shipping address
- Email address and phone number
- Order history and transaction records
- Account login credentials (managed by BigCommerce)
In-Person / Phone:
- Contact information, project details, and transaction history collected at our locations or over the phone are recorded in our internal business systems.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit either website, we and our third-party tools automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Referring URL (the page you visited before ours)
- Pages viewed, time spent, clicks, and navigation behavior
- Session recordings and heatmap data (via Microsoft Clarity – see Section 8)
- Conversion events (form submissions, calculator completions, page goals)
5. How We Use Your Information
A. Fulfilling Requests & Customer Service
- Responding to quote requests and contact form submissions
- Sending decking calculator results and material estimates by email
- Processing online orders and managing account information
- Providing customer support at either location
B. Marketing & Communications
With your consent (provided via the checkbox on our forms), we may use your name, email address, and phone number to:
- Send promotional emails, product announcements, and special offers via MailerLite
- Contact you by phone regarding your inquiry or upcoming promotions
- Send SMS/text messages for marketing purposes (see Section 9 for TCPA notice)
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any text message.
C. Advertising & Retargeting
We use Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) to advertise our products. Data collected through tracking pixels and tags on our websites may be shared with these platforms to:
- Measure the effectiveness of our ads
- Serve you relevant ads based on your browsing behavior (retargeting)
- Build custom and lookalike audiences
This constitutes sharing data with third-party ad platforms. See Section 8 for details on these technologies and how to opt out.
D. Website Analytics & Security
- Analyzing user behavior to improve website performance and content
- Detecting and preventing fraud, spam, and security threats (via Wordfence)
- Running session recordings and heatmaps to understand user experience (via Microsoft Clarity)
- Tracking calculator usage and form conversion rates for internal reporting
6. How .com and .net Data Is Used Together
The premiumdeckingsupply.com website (self-hosted WordPress) and premiumdeckingsupply.net online store (BigCommerce) are separate technical platforms. They do not automatically sync or share databases.
However, as both sites are owned and operated by Premium Decking Supply, Inc., contact information and customer data collected through either platform – including quote leads, order history, and calculator submissions – may be accessed and used by our team for:
- Unified customer relationship management
- Combined marketing and promotional outreach
- Business analytics and reporting
Customer data from both platforms is also accessible through our internal business management system (see Section 8).
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on both websites. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences and improve your experience.
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for the website to function (shopping cart, form security, login sessions)
- Analytics cookies: Used to understand how visitors interact with our site (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity)
- Advertising cookies: Used to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance (Google Ads, Meta Pixel)
- Security cookies: Used to detect malicious traffic and protect the site (Wordfence)

8. Third-Party Tools & Data Processors
We work with the following third-party services that may access, process, or receive data collected through our websites:
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage and deploy tracking scripts on our website. GTM itself does not collect personal data, but it loads and fires third-party tags including Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, the Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity. All data collected by those tags is subject to the respective sections below.
Google Ads & Google Analytics
We use Google Ads for paid advertising and Google Analytics to analyze website traffic. Google may use cookies and tracking tags to measure conversions and serve retargeted ads. If we use enhanced conversions, hashed contact data (email or phone) may be sent to Google to improve ad measurement.

Meta Pixel (Facebook & Instagram Ads)
We use the Meta Pixel to track conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads and to build custom audiences. If we use Meta’s Advanced Matching feature, hashed contact information (email, phone) may be shared with Meta.

Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to record user sessions, generate heatmaps, and analyze how visitors interact with our website. Clarity may capture mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and page interactions. This data is used to improve website design and user experience. Microsoft Clarity does not collect payment or full form data.

MailerLite
We use MailerLite as our email marketing platform. Contact information collected through our forms and tools may be added to MailerLite for the purpose of sending marketing emails. MailerLite manages unsubscribe requests, spam complaints, and email delivery. All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.

Twilio (SMS Platform)
We intend to use Twilio for SMS/text message marketing in the future. When implemented, phone numbers collected through our forms (with your explicit consent) may be used to send text messages via Twilio. You will be able to opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Epicor BisTrack (Internal ERP)
We use Epicor BisTrack, an enterprise resource planning system by Epicor Software Corp., to manage our internal business operations including inventory, sales, and customer records. Customer information collected through in-person transactions, phone orders, and online activity may be stored and accessed through this system by authorized Premium Decking Supply staff. This data is not sold or shared externally.
BigCommerce, PayPal & Stripe (.net only)
Our online store at premiumdeckingsupply.net is hosted on BigCommerce, which stores standard e-commerce data including customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, and billing and shipping addresses associated with orders and accounts.
Online payments are processed through PayPal and Stripe. All payment transactions are handled directly by these processors – we do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or banking details at any point. Billing and shipping addresses collected during checkout are stored by BigCommerce for order fulfillment purposes.

Wordfence
We use Wordfence on our WordPress website for security monitoring. Wordfence may collect IP addresses and request data to detect and block malicious traffic. This information is used solely for security purposes.
Custom Calculator Tracking
Our decking, railing calculator, and other tools are custom-built. Calculator inputs, results, and the contact information submitted with each calculation are tracked and stored on our servers for business and marketing follow-up purposes.
9. SMS Marketing & TCPA Compliance
By checking the consent box on any of our forms, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS) from Premium Decking Supply, Inc. for marketing purposes, including promotions, product updates, and special offers. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary.
To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. To get help, reply HELP. You may also contact us directly at either location to opt out.
We currently collect phone numbers but have not yet launched an SMS marketing program. When we do, it will be conducted through Twilio, and only numbers collected with explicit consent will be contacted.
We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for their own SMS marketing purposes.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information indefinitely unless you request deletion. This includes contact information submitted through forms, calculator data, email marketing records, and transaction history. We retain data for as long as it is reasonably useful for business, marketing, and customer service purposes.
If you would like your information deleted, please contact us (see Section 14). We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe. Note that we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records).
11. Your Rights & Choices
Regardless of your location, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information.
- Opt-out of email marketing: Use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us directly.
- Opt-out of SMS: Reply STOP to any text message.
- Opt-out of ad tracking: Use the opt-out links in Section 8 for Google and Meta.
California Residents (CCPA): If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

12. How We Protect Your Information
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These measures include:
- SSL/TLS encryption on both websites
- Wordfence security monitoring and firewall on our WordPress site
- Restricted internal access to customer data within our team
- PCI-compliant payment processing through BigCommerce (we do not store credit card numbers)
No online system is completely secure. While we take these precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify affected individuals as required by applicable law.
13. Children’s Privacy
Our websites are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
14. Legal Disclosures & Dispute Resolution
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, or in response to valid requests from public authorities (e.g., a court order, government agency, or law enforcement request).
Governing Law: This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first if you have a concern about how your data is handled. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, any legal dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Will County, Illinois.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted to this page. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect when the most recent changes were made.
